Job Title: Job Coach

Position Type: Full-Time

About Mallory’s Home:
Mallory’s Home is a supportive residential community dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities through personalized care, skill-building, and employment support.

Position Overview:
The Job Coach will work closely with residents to identify their career goals and support them in securing and maintaining meaningful employment. They will provide one-on-one coaching, on-the-job support, and collaborate with employers to create inclusive work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess residents' employment interests, skills, and support needs.
  • Develop individualized employment plans with short- and long-term goals.
  • Provide job readiness training, including resume building, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.
  • Accompany residents to job interviews and support them during onboarding.
  • Offer on-site and off-site job support, including problem-solving and advocating for reasonable accommodations.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Track progress, collect data, and report on employment outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment.
  • Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation and job development strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using job readiness assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with local employers and job markets.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) a plus.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Job Developer to join our team. The Job Developer will work one-on-one with clients, helping them identify career goals, develop employment skills, and secure meaningful job placements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients’ skills, interests, and goals to develop personalized employment plans.
  • Build relationships with local businesses to create job opportunities.
  • Match clients with suitable job openings and support them through the application and interview process.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to help clients retain employment.
  • Maintain detailed records of client progress and employer interactions.
  • Stay current on labor market trends and best practices in job development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in job development, workforce development, or vocational rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.

Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

About Mallory’s Home:
Mallory’s Home is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We empower residents to live independently, engage with their community, and achieve their personal goals.

Position Overview:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides personalized care and support to residents. DSPs assist with daily living activities, skill development, and community integration while ensuring safety, dignity, and individualized support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Support Plan (ISP).
  • Facilitate community outings, vocational activities, and social interactions.
  • Monitor and report health changes, and assist with medication administration as certified (MAC).
  • Document daily activities, progress, and incidents per DIDD and agency standards.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all residents.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in caregiving, direct support, or human services preferred.
  • Must be compassionate, patient, and able to work with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Required Training & Certifications:

  • Completion of DIDD DSP Pre-Service Training.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Medication Administration Certification (if applicable).
  • Annual in-service training and competency validation.

Job Summary:
The House Manager at Mallory’s Home will provide leadership and oversight within a family-model supportive living environment. This role ensures residents receive person-centered care, support, and a safe, nurturing atmosphere. The House Manager will foster a sense of belonging, coordinate care services, and manage household operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a supportive, family-style environment that promotes independence and community for residents.
  • Supervise and support direct care staff, ensuring training, development, and compliance with policies.
  • Monitor residents' daily activities, health, and well-being, and ensure all care plans are followed.
  • Coordinate medical appointments, therapies, and other services with external providers.
  • Manage household operations, including budgeting, supplies, maintenance, and safety.
  • Foster a positive family atmosphere, addressing residents' emotional and social needs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, including safety and licensing standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in supportive living.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a group home or supportive living setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, solve problems, and respond to emergencies calmly.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to the mission of providing person-centered care.
  • Knowledge of state and local regulations regarding supportive living.
